How to Get Rewards in Diablo 2 Resurrected

Diablo 2 Resurrected (D2R) is a remastered version of the classic action role-playing game Diablo 2, which was released in 2000. The game features seven classes, each with their own unique skills and playstyles. The game also features a variety of quests that can offer rewards for players who complete them.

Rewards are items or benefits that players can obtain by completing quests or challenges in D2R. Rewards can include weapons, armor, gems, runes, gold, experience, skill points, stat points, or other bonuses. Rewards can help players improve their character’s performance and appearance and progress through the game.

There are different types of quests and rewards in D2R, such as:

  • Main Quests: These are quests that are part of the game’s main story. They are usually given by NPCs (non-player characters) in each act, and they often involve killing a boss or finding an item. Main quests are mandatory to complete in order to advance to the next act or difficulty level. Main quests usually offer rewards such as gold, experience, skill points, stat points, or unique items.

  • Optional Quests: These are quests that are not part of the game’s main story. NPCs usually give them or find them in certain locations in each act. They often involve killing a special enemy or finding a hidden item. Optional quests are not mandatory to complete, but they can offer rewards such as gold, experience, items, or other bonuses.

  • Skill Quests: These quests permanently grant the character additional skill points. The game has three skill quests, one for each difficulty level. Completing these quests in all three difficulties results in 12 skill points, which greatly increase the character’s power. The skill quests are Den of Evil (Act 1), Radament’s Lair (Act 2), and The Prison of Ice (Act 5).

  • Challenge Quests: These are quests that are added in D2R as part of the expansion content. NPCs usually give them or find them in specific locations in each act. They often involve completing a difficult task or defeating a powerful enemy. Challenge quests are not mandatory to complete, but they can offer rewards such as gems, runes, items, or other bonuses. Some examples of challenge quests are The Countess (Act 1), The Summoner (Act 2), The Cow King (Act 1 Secret Level), and Uber Tristram (Act 5 Secret Level).

  • Ladder Quests: These quests are exclusive to the Ladder mode of D2R. Ladder mode is a competitive game mode where players race to level up and obtain the best items. Ladder mode has its own leaderboard and ranking system. Ladder mode also has its own set of quests that offer rewards such as ladder-only runes or Runewords. Ladder mode is currently unavailable in D2R but will be added in a future update.

To get a reward in D2R, players need to complete the quests that suit their needs and preferences. Some quests may be easier or harder than others, depending on the character’s class, level, gear, and skills. Some quests may also require cooperation with other players or mercenaries to complete.

Getting rewards in D2R is one of the main goals and motivations for playing the game. Rewards can make the gameplay experience more fun and satisfying, as well as more challenging and rewarding. Rewards can also help players customize their characters and show off their style.
